You have signed up to the Selective Horizon 2025 Program, a transformative 10-week journey where you’ll tackle weekly sample tests, gain valuable feedback, and sharpen the skills needed for the NSW Selective Test.

This starts on the 7th February 2025 and ends on the 13th April 2025.

The Selective Horizon Plus Package

In the 10-week program, I’ll provide students with valuable insights to enhance their preparation for the 2025 NSW Selective test from Friday 2 May to Sunday 4 May 2025.

If you’re serious about gaining an accurate understanding of your child’s readiness for NSW Selective School entry, this program is for you. While we’ve successfully guided students through one-on-one tutoring for over a decade, we’re now expanding our impact with tailored selective sample tests. Although practice questions are valuable, knowing which areas you are still weaker in and adjusting the time spent on certain questions is crucial for success especially in the final months leading up to the big test.

By signing up for the Horizon Plus Package, you’ll gain even more valuable resources, including:

  • Weekly access to ALL questions your child completes, including time spent per question.

  • Detailed feedback on their writing response, explaining their score out of 25.

  • Insights into correct and incorrect answers for all exams.

Keep note that explanations will not be provided but an answer key will be. If you want further insight on how to solve questions

properly, we always have our one on one classes that are available.

Selective Horizon 2025 FAQs

Is the Selective Horizon 2025 Program Free?

Yes, the 10 week program is absolutely free. I’m trying to help as many people as possible prepare for the NSW Selective test scheduled Friday 2 May to Sunday 4 May 2025.

But, if you’re interested, you can upgrade to receive the specific questions that were tested each week, the options your child chooses in the test as well as feedback on the writing (beyond just a score).

How will I Access the Weekly Tests?

You will receive links to all the sessions in your email inbox a day or two before the test each week. Plus, you will receive a reminder email when the test is officially live. As the tests are online, you can complete them at home as long as you have a stable internet connection.

What if My Child Can Not do a Test? Can we still do it Another Day?

Unfortunately not. If your child skips a test for whatever reason, they will not have access to the questions again. There are four tests each week. If your child skips more than 1 week of tests, we reserve the right to remove them from the Selective Horizon 2025 program without any notice so we can help another student instead.

Can I get Access to the Questions and What my Child Chooses for their Answers each Week?

The specific test questions and what your child chooses are available to anyone who purchases the bonus Horizon Plus package. This is only $40/week or $400 for the entire program. This is completely optional otherwise you will still receive a score upon completing the exam without a breakdown.

What if a Student Tries to Search for Answers?

We hope this does not occur as it is just ‘cheating themselves’ and will not be an accurate representation of the ability. Although our testing platform includes anti-cheat technology that detects suspicious browser activity, such as changing tabs or taking screenshots, triggering a warning. Repeated violations will result in automatic termination of the test.
We reserve the right to void any exam, including for students with the Horizon Plus package, if we suspect the exam's integrity has been compromised.

How and When Do We Have Access To My Child’s Ranking/Performance?

You will receive a raw score immediately after the exam (excluding writing). After each week's exam ends on Sunday, our team will compile the marks and evaluate writing. Once complete, we will upload the results to a shared Google Sheet, where you can view your child's rankings (approximately 1 week).
